I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Trinity College Dublin, a Research Affiliate of IM-TCD (International Macro-TCD) and SUERF – The European Money and Finance Forum, a Research Fellow of the BAFFI-CAREFIN Centre, Bocconi University, a Research Associate of the Centre for Economics, Policy and History, and a Chercheur affilié at OFCE-SciencesPo. I am also an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Finance & Economics and International Economics and Economic Policy.

I am a member of the CBDC Academic Advisory Group, jointly run by HM Treasury and the Bank of England, and the Monetary Policy Expert Panel of the ECON Committee of the European Parliament.
